About Dispatcher 1st Shift (day)
Interlogistics is a leading and rapidly growing company known for its professionalism and excellence. We are seeking positive, motivated individuals to join our dynamic team and contribute to our continued success. This position is for the night shift only, and candidates must be available to work weekends and holidays.
Duties & Responsibilities
Handle inbound calls from drivers and provide clear instructions on load pick-up and delivery locations.
Deliver accurate and detailed information regarding directions, load specifics, pick-up/delivery times, and other load-related details.
Proactively communicate with the dispatch team regarding load or driver issues, including reviewing pre-planned deliveries.
Identify and address challenges promptly, escalating to the dispatch team and supervisor while proposing potential solutions.
Maintain consistent communication with drivers to identify and resolve existing or potential service issues, minimizing customer impact.
Accurately input load and driver-related information, update driver routes/plans weekly, and ensure alignment with the dispatch team.
Coordinate company and customer needs with driver availability, ensuring compliance with hours of service regulations.
Collaborate with the dispatch team, brokers, and customers to secure loads for drivers, ensuring loads align with equipment capabilities and meet company rate-per-mile requirements.
Monitor and account for weather and traffic conditions that may impact travel times.
Prioritize loads effectively while meeting customer needs through ongoing coordination and communication with production, the dispatch team, and the dispatch supervisor.
Requirements
Proven customer service experience.
Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Strong knowledge of USA geography.
Familiarity with the trucking industry and the ability to address customer needs.
Previous dispatch experience is preferred.
Excellent organizational, critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Capability to make sound decisions and manage multiple processes under pressure.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
A well-organized, self-motivated team player.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to the company’s long-term success.
Ability to contribute strategically to both short- and long-term planning.
Effective listening skills to gather input and foster collaborative team relationships.
Skilled in assisting with routing and workload coordination.
Ability to remain calm under pressure and maintain positive driver/dispatch relations.

About Dispatcher 2st Shift (day)
This shift shares the same responsibilities and duties as the day shift. The primary difference is that night shift dispatchers work overnight. Availability for weekends and holidays is required.
